Low Carb Sauerkraut Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast

  • 2 lb sauerkraut

  • 5 Tbls Greek yogurt

  • 1 onion

  • 1 Tbls coconut oil

  • Salt & pepper


Step 1

Chop onion into tiny pieces and cut your chicken into smaller cubes.

Step 2

In the cooking pot, add a scoop of coconut oil and let it melt. Add chopped onion, cooking on medium heat until it caramelizes.

Step 3

Once caramelized, add chicken, salt, pepper and cook 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Add sauerkraut with the liquid as well. Mix and cover. Cook on medium heat 20-25 minutes until sauerkraut is cooked.

Step 5

Turn off heat. Add in yogurt, mixing thoroughly then serve!
