Ingredients

  • 1-1.5 lbs ground beef

  • 1/2 medium onion, diced

  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 5-6 button mushrooms diced

  • 1/2 large zucchini, diced

  • 1 bell pepper, diced

  • 3 Tbls tomato paste

  • 2 Tbls Worcestershire

  • 2 Tbls maple syrup

  • 1 Tbls apple cider vinegar

  • 1 (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Brown the meat and set aside.


Step 2

Remove the excess fat, leaving about 2 Tbls. Cook the onion and pepper over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.


Step 3

Add in zucchini and mushrooms, cooking another 3-4 minutes before adding in garlic and cooking another minute.


Step 4

Stir in cooked meat and the rest of the ingredients. Simmer on medium for at least 15 minutes, or reduce to low and cook until ready to eat.
