Blueberry Oatmeal Smoothie
Filled with healthy juicy blueberries, lots of fiber from traditional rolled oats, and your favorite milk, you’ll feel good from your tongue to your tummy.
- 1/2 c rolled oats
- 1/2 Tbsp flaxseed meal (optional)
- 3/4 c ice cubes
- 2/3 c plain yogurt of your choice
- 1 ½ c frozen bananas (sliced)
- 1 6 oz package blueberries
- 1 ½ c milk of choice
PLACE 1/2 cup oats into blender.
ADD 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed meal (if using).PULSE blender several times on high speed until oats are finely ground.
ADD 3/4 cup ice cubes and ADD 2/3 cup yogurt.BLEND until mixture flows easily inside of blender.
ADD 1 ½ frozen bananas.BLEND again until mixture flows easily inside of blender.
ADD blueberries.BLEND until mixture flows easily inside of blender.
ADD 1 cup milk and BLEND until mixture flows easily inside of blender.
ADD more milk in small amounts until smoothie is the consistency you like.
DIVIDE smoothie between 2 or 3 glasses and SERVE immediately.
