Cells are considered the building blocks of life. You can not be healthy if you do not have healthy cells. Our lymphatic system is what naturally cleanses our bodies. It carries oxygen and other nutrients to the cells, and carries away waste and toxins. The lymphatic system does not have a pump like our cardiovascular system does. Therefore the only way our lymph nodes can travel, is through our breathing and muscle movement. Here’s a statics for you… 1 in 3 people will develop some form of cancer. Only 1 in 7 Athletes will develop cancer. WHY? Because they are breathing properly and they are getting the proper amount of aerobic exercises and moving their muscles.

For the next 10 days I want to do a breathing challenge with you. You’re doing it anyway you might as well do it right. We are going to take 10 BIG breaths, 3 times a day, for 10 days. I know it looks confusing now but each day I will post how many counts to inhale, hold, and exhale. We will work our way up to holding for 32 seconds ( or as long as you can with our straining). Our breathing ratio is going to look like this:

1 Count Inhale 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
4 Count Hold 8 12 16 20 24 28 32
2 Count Exhale 4 6 8 10 12 14 16

*Disclaimer* If you feel lightheaded at anytime sit down. Also if you are straining or squeezing don’t hold your breath as long.
